Accompanied by Former Scotland Yard DCI Steve Gaskin, you will be immersed in the world of true crime and storytelling, ranging from serial killing to corruption (which went unpunished) Steve grew up the area, living in police flats
From the scandalous tales of Lord Lucan and the murder of the nanny, to the Beast of Belgravia, and delving into scenes from the infamous Great Train Robbery.
There will be ten stops, each with its peculiar brand of history
Highlights Include:
- Visit the pub where the robbers planned The Great Train Robbery (one of the largest heists in British history)
- Head to the scene of a major arrest of a great train robber
- Visit the former home of Lord Lucan, the scene of a grisly murder. This case remains one of the most read-about, written-about murders in British Criminal history
- As you explore Belgravia, we also indulge you in further tales of crime and scandal
- Ten, short places of interest finishing off in the quintessential English Pub “The Star Tavern”
Starting and Meeting Point
Start at the Victoria Pub in 1 Lower Belgrave St, London SW1W 0NR. Victoria Station is right on top of where we start.
