The instance of poisoning as the principle cause of murder, is small in the UK
However, deliberate poisoning, not resulting in death, is still commonplace.
Unfortunately, there is very little data kept about poisoning cases. There are also some popular myths that it is largely women responsible for murder by way of poisoning.
I have great delight adding two documents which I hope will help the student of forensic psychology.
